Nicholas Spencer (1633–1689) was an English Virginia planter and politician.

In 1674, Spencer, along with his friend John Washington, bought a plot of land. In 1690, their heirs split the land, leaving the Washington family with the portion running along Little Hunting Creek while the Spencer family kep the portion along Dogue Creek.[1]
