Nergüi

Nergüi (1212 – 1279) was a member of the Mongolian Brotherhood of Assassins. Captured as an Apprentice during his scouting of Genghis Khan's camp, he was tortured while imprisoned, leaving his face permanently scarred. Nergüi was eventually rescued by his master, Qulan Gal, and by Darim Ibn-La'Ahad when the two assassinated the Great Khan.

Nergüi would go on to be an effective and influential member of the Mongolian Assassins. His greatest achievement was the assassination of Hülegü Khan, in retribution for Hülegü's sacking of Masyaf and the destruction of the Levantine Assassins.
