The Necropolis Hideout was a necropolis situated in the mountains next to the Aquaeductus Kyrenaike in the Green Mountains of Kyrenaika. During the 1st century BCE, it was desecrated by a group of bandits who made it their hideout.

In 47 BCE, the bandits stole a dioptra belonging to the Roman engineer Vitruvius, thus preventing him from continuing his construction of the aqueduct. He later sent the Medjay, Bayek of Siwa, who eliminated the bandits and recovered the tool.[1] In addition, Bayek also came across the body of messenger, carrying a letter for a worker meant for his wife.[2]
