The National Central Library (Italian: Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Firenze) is a public national library in Florence, the largest in Italy and one of the most important in Europe.

History

By 2012, it held one of the pages of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's Codex among its collection. A fact historian Shaun Hastings would later recount to Desmond Miles in September of that year, when asked about the current modern day whereabouts of the Codex pages his ancestor Ezio Auditore da Firenze tracked down during his early adult life.[1]
