The Mytilean Revolt (428-427 BCE) was when the city of Mytilene attempted to unify the island ofLesbos under thier control. So they could revolt agianstAthens. They collaberated with Sparta. The revolt failed. In Athens it was first voted for the city to be destoryed. A later vote changed the cities fate. It was no longer to be destoryed.
