A stele in Aaru

The Myths of the Pharaohs were stelae situated in the Egyptian afterlives of Aaru, Aten, Heb Sed, and the Duat. With each region containing four to be found, each of the stelae led the individual to a site containing a treasure belonging to one of the pharaohs Akhenaten, Nefertiti, Ramesses II, or Tutankhamun.

In 38 BCE, the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa found the stelae during his time in each afterlife, and was able to solve the puzzles surrounding the stelae and recovered the treasures.[1]

Myths

Aaru

Goddess, Lady of Grace, consort of the Aten. You of the moonblushed skin. Whose perfection doth eclipse all women. His Great Wife, you show us faithful te path.

Mistress of the Two Lands, mother of the six daughters. Beside not beneath the right arm of the Sole God. Strike down the enemies of faith.

At last, He lies, silent, guarded. Neferneferuaten come, take up the crook and flail. Wear the Uraeus, the rearing cobra and lead our Two Lands.

I fashioned a sculpture of such perfection. Her beauty is absolute, flawless and eternal. But under this shadow of symmetry, the sharp cheekbones and noble brow, the truth lies.
