Mungo MacBean
Mungo MacBean was a Scottish ironwork during the early 19th century.
Married and a father of six, Mungo worked for Garnkirk and Glasgow Railways where, in 1831, he constructed the steam locomotive that would eventaully become the Train Hideout for the British Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye.
Three years later, in 1834, Mungo's health deteriorated rapidly and so his daughter Agnes took over his role, disguising herself as her father.[1]
