Muhammad I (823 – 886) was emir of Córdoba from 852 to 886.

Succeeding his father Abd al-Rahman II, Muhammad spent much of his reign quelling several revolts and separatist movements of the Muwallad and the Mozarabs in the state. Continuing the tradition laid down by his father, Muhammad maintained a trade route with the Norse kingdom of Dublin in Ireland, which allowed him to sustain his reign.
