The Mu Us Tribe was a Xiongnu tribe that inhabited the Mu Us Desert, north of the Great Wall in Northern China.
In 215 BCE, a youxia and Wei Yu's disciple came to the tribal village after receiving instructions by the Xiongnu Prince Modu to meet him there. After interacting with some of the villagers and later getting into a fight with one of the tribesmen, the youxia was saved by the arrival of Modu, who revealed his noble status and called for the Xiongnu to cease their attacks.[1]
