Michael Fassbender is a Irish-German actor, and is best known for his roles in Inglourious Basterds, Shame, X-Men: First Class and Prometheus.

In the Assassin's Creed series, Fassbender has been reported to produce, as well as play the leading role in the upcoming Assassin's Creed film. Some websites have reported his character to be Desmond Miles, while others have reported that the movie will not necessarily be about Desmond at all.
