The Mercenary (real name presumed to be Rocco Tiepolo) is a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and a unlockable character. who wields a short sword. To be unlocked the player has to be at level 45.

- The Mercenary bears the emblem of the Sforza, this could mean that some members of the Sforza family are Templars.
