The Mercenary is a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood who wields a short sword.
"Clanless and self-sufficient, The Mercenary only takes sides for those who pay. Money is his only motivation. His weapon of choice, the lethal short sword can be bought, but be warned... Double-crosses earn twice the profit!"
Trivia
- The Mercinary bears a certain strong resemblance to both Mario Auditore, the uncle of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, and Bartolomeo d'Alviano, the Condotierro of Venice. It is highly likely that he was based off of one of the characters, or both.
