Matsura Takanobu (松浦 隆信, 1529 – 1599) was a Japanese daimyo from the island of Kyūshū.

Takanobu was a host to the Jesuits' mission, welcoming Francis Xavier after his expulsion from Kagoshima, hoping this would help secure trade with the Portuguese Empire merchants. However, when internal strife between the Christians and the Buddhists arouse in Hirado, Takanobu prohibited Christianity.[1]
