The Master of the Tower was a high-ranking member of the Templar Order, who commanded a Templar base, the Jerusalem Tower.

He wore clothes very similar in appearance to those of an Assassin, but his robes were colored black with blue markings.

Biography

The Master studied the Assassins and their Creed for his own knowledge, which he even passed to a student of his own.

In 1190, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad found his way to the Jerusalem tower and fought his way up, killing the Master's guards, as well as his student. Finally, he reached the Master himself at the top of the tower.

Altaïr confronted him, and the Master attempted to elicit him to join the Templars in their quest. However, Altaïr refused the offer, killed the Master, and stole the map he guarded, which led to the Temple of the Sand.

Trivia

  • The Master shares his character model with Harash.
  • Upon confronting him for the first time, Altaïr says that the Master wears "strange garb," despite being dressed in near identical robes.
