Maria Hackett (1783 – 1874), was an English philanthropist.

By the nineteenth century, St. Paul's Cathedral had once again lost its luster. Queen Victoria remarked that the cathedral was "dreary, dingy, and undevotional". Hackett, along with other philanthropists like William Weldon Champneys, helped raise funds improve the cathedral, though the British Templar Crawford Starrick did not donate.[1]
