Malcolm

Malcolm, also known as The Connection, was a man seen in a fabricated vision of the future implanted into Joey by the Isu Vejovis.

Biography

In the vision, Malcolm approached Sam, saying that Sam didn't have to fear him, before raising Vejovis' dagger and causing all of the peopple of the tribe to fall to their knees. Malcolm asked if Sam repented his sins, to which Sam answered that he knew not what he had done. Malcolm asked the other people what they do to traitors, receiving the answer "kill them!" and raising the dagger to do so to Sam before the vision ended.

After having that vision, while reliving the memories of Cadmus, Joey was addressed by an Isu holograph that mentioned Malcolm, saying he was "The Connection" and that his actions would "lead to the destruction of all" should the dagger fall into his hands. Alera, Colm and Joey suspected Malcolm of being a Sage of Vejovis, though with the destruction of the dagger, Alera posited that Malcolm and that future could not come to pass.
