Machus was an informant of Apollodorus who lived during the 1st century BCE.

In 48 BCE, Aya sent her husband Bayek to meet Machus outside the Lageion Hippodrome, as he had knowledge about Apollodorus's whereabouts. Machus informed Bayek to wait for the next night and that if Apollodorus sees fit to meet the Medjay, he would be waiting near the lighthouse near the town of Kanopos. Machus also recommened Bayek to visit and take part in horse races in the hippodrome.
