Machine Gun
The Chariot Machine Gun is a ballistic weapon featured in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, designed by Leonardo da Vinci for use by the Borgia forces. This 15th century machine gun is placed on a chariot so that one can shoot at any targets that come within range of the horse-drawn carriage. It is immensely powerful, slaying men and horses alike in a single shot (It is much simpler to aim at the horses rather than the soldiers riding them).
In order to successfully destroy Leonardo's contraption, the player will have to travel through the countryside, fending off the Borgia soldiers as they go, using the devastating Machine Gun to slay men on horseback who will come from all different angles.
Like the other war machines, the Chariot Machine Gun is destroyed by Ezio Auditore da Firenze. This weapon in particular is destroyed after Ezio detaches the gunpowder-laden Chariot from the bar attaching it to the horses, and shooting the gunpowder barrels with his Hidden Gun. The resulting explosion destroys the machine gun, whilst Ezio rides to safety with the horses.
After killing a Templar overseer in Rome, Ezio finds the whereabouts of the Machine Gun. He travels southeast to the Alban Hills (Colli Albani). There, he burns Leonardo's blueprints and takes control of the machine gun, Ezio said before it's destruction that "the world is a better place without you" before scattering it with the pistol.
