Luxor is a large Egyptian temple complex located in Thebes, on the east bank of the Nile river.

In 38 BCE, the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa, travelled to the temple entrance, where he met with Amunet's contact Merti, who had information on the "curse" that was plaguing the city.

Sometime thereafter, Bayek infiltrated the temple to rescue Besa. a dream interpreter, on the request of the latter's student, Miane.
