Luigi Torcelli
- "Well, well. The Banker has a special evening planned. I will be delivering your payment. Give it here."
- ―Luigi to Egidio.[src]
Luigi Torcelli was a high ranking Borgia guard in Rome in 1503.
Biography
Death
In 1503, Luigi and a few of his men assembled at the Pantheon to accept the payment Egidio Troche was making to pay off his debt. Luigi took the money chest that Egidio had been carrying and went inside the Pantheon to count it. Meanwhile, Ezio Auditore da Firenze infiltrated the Pantheon from the roof. As Luigi finished counting the money, he gave the order to have Egidio killed. Ezio then assassinated Luigi and stripped him of his guard uniform, wearing it himself and impersonating Luigi.[1]
Trivia
- In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Luigi appears as a strong and high ranking Borgia guard, whereas in the novelization, he is described as a withered man who was the Banker's agent, a position that Egidio described as a 'desk job'.
