Longbow
The longbow is a powerful weapon used to shoot targets that are far away from you. One hit to the heart and you're gone. The longbow appears in Assassin's Creed III and will appear in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
Design
The longbow is made out of a bendable wooden stick and a string. The arrows are made of strong wood, feathers on the end for stability during flight and a head made of stone or steel.
History
Early use
The recordings of the first longbow being used dates back to 3300 BCE. Bayek used it around 40 BCE and Ratonhnhaké:ton used first used it around 1775.
Modern times
People don't use longbows anymore as we have guns which are faster, more critical and more lethal.
