Limnai

Limnai was an ancient Greek village in Lakonia, Peloponnese, Greece. In antiquity, it was one of the villages, along with Mesoa, Pitana and Kynosoura, which formed the city-state of Sparta. The village in particular was also known for its Temple of Artemis Orthia.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War, the village and it's temple was visited by the Spartan misthios, Kassandra.[1]
