Lightning Zeus

Lightning Zeus was a gigantic statue of the Greek god Zeus, located on Mount Ainos in Kephallonia.

The Spartan misthios Kassandra climbed the statue in around 431 BCE.[1]

Trivia

  • In the game, the statue was depicted as such to mirror the geophysical phenomena of Mount Ainos, which was known for its thunderstorms.
  • The statue serves as a viewpoint in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey.
