Monsieur Le Fanu (unknown – 1790) was a French member of the Templar Order loyal to the De la Serres. Despite the turning of many bribed or threatened member of the conservative faction and the death of the other loyalists, Le Fanu still wanted to pledge his loyalty to Élise de la Serre.

However, he was killed by Germain's faction before he could do it, his throat sliced. Despite being known as a loving family man and a faithfull husband, Le Fanu's body was put into a whorehouse, from which it was extracted in front of all the passersby and was thrown naked onto the street. Used as an exemple, Le Fanu was then posthumously stripped of his Templar rank for this dishonour and thus his family was prevented from any support from the Order. Disgraced and without ressources, his wife Claire killed their children and then killed herself.
