Lanike was the owner of the Amyklai Farm in Lakonia, Greece during the 5th century BCE. She ran the farm for her family, though during the Peloponnesian War the farm was underperforming, and Lanike blamed the gods, believing the land to be cursed.

After helping Xanthe, the magistrate of the village of Pitana, the misthios Kassandra was told that there were others in Lakonia who might use her skills. Xanthe mentioned Lanike as one case she might look into.
