Korfu's Greaves were a pair of greaves forged in ancient Greece during the 5th century BCE, hailing from the island of Korfu. During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra acquired the leg armor after Herodotos and Barnabas' playful treasure hunt led her to her to find a true treasure hidden in the isle.[1]

Description
This pair is full of coarse, rough, and irritating sand. It gets everywhere, but the extra protection is worth it.

Behind the scenes

The leg armor's flavor text alludes to an oft-ridiculed line of dialogue said by the Jedi apprentice Anakin Skywalker in the 2002 science-fiction film Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones. While at a retreat with Senator Padmé Amidala on her homeworld of Naboo, Anakin contrasted her appreciation of beaches with his unpleasant experience of having lived on the desert planet Tatooine, saying. "I don't like the sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating—not like you." The awkward delivery led to it becoming an online meme that was used to mock the Prequel trilogy's stilted lines and poor directing as well as for users to jokingly commiserate in their own displeasure of sand.[2]
