South Korea is an East Asian country. Abstergo Industries keeps an office there in the nation's capital, Seoul.

In 2015, the Japanese Assassins sent a team into South Korea as part of the Brotherhood's global hunt for the lab of Álvaro Gramática, the Abstergo scientist who became a top priority when the Assassins learned of his plan to resurrect a member of the First Civilization.
