Kolonos Hippios

Kolonos Hippios was a hill and altar to both Poseidon and Athena, who were honored as protectors of horses. It was located in the Parnes Mountains region of Attika, Greece.

History

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the site while traveling through Attika.[1]
