Kittos was a pirate who worked under Xenia during the Peloponnesian War. He was the older brother of Galateia, who similarly worked under Xenia.
At some point, Kittos sailed alongside his sister, Anaximander and Iaira in the waters surrounding Achaia, carrying a coffer belonging to their leader. They later came under attack from an army faction, who eliminated many of the crew. While Galateia was able to escape, Kittos, Anaximander, and Iaira were captured and held captive at the fort. Kittos and the pirates were later freed by the misthios Kassandra, whom Xenia had sent to recover the coffer and free her crew.[1]
