Kite Shield
The Kite Shield was a type of heavy shield used in England during the 9th century.
During her travels, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan acquired this shield from a chest at the Wandrie settlement, Grantebridgescire.[1]
