Jacques d'Amboise (between 1440 and 1450 – 1516) was the abbot of Cluny.

In 1485, Jacques purchased the site of of an old Roman thermal baths and developed it into a townhouse. The townhouse later came to be known as the Hôtel de Cluny.[1]
