Ingrid was a female dwarf who lived in Vangrinn, Svartálfaheimr.

Biography

Ingrid fled to Hodda Shelter when the Muspels invaded her realm. She then left the shelter and was captured by both Jotun and Muspel warriors. Placed in a snake pit, she begged for her life until she was saved the Æsir lord Havi, who killed the warriors. She thanked him and told him that the warriors planned to meet their leader in the mountains, north of Svöduforsar. She then traveled back to her shelter. After some time, she saw Havi again and gave him a gift for rescuing her.[1]
