The Calicut Assassins Guild was an Assassin Guild located in Calicut, India, and were the enemies of Portuguese explorers under the command of the Templars.

History

Renaissance

During the early 16th century, the Calicut Assassins Guild received help from the Assassins Guild in Rome to fight off the Portugese employed by Manuel I of Portugal, who was puppeteered by the Templars. They set Pedro Álvares Cabral's storehouses and shops on fire, and took out several key commanders of his army. After Cabral's departure, the Assassins found out that they knew the location of the Assassins Guild.

After Manuel I sent Vasco da Gama to Calicut to enforce the Portuguese rule, the guild members hid several relics and documents and evacuated their family and friends. They established an army of disguised Assassins, and killed most of Gama's commanders in plain sight, forcing them to flee.
