Inariyama Garrison

Inariyama Garrison was an abandoned military camp situated in the eastern Mount Kasagata in Harima, Japan.

History

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke entered into the bandit-infested garrison, killed its two samurai daisho, and recovered a bow Funeral Pyre from the fort's treasure chest. They later climbed atop the watchtower in the northwestern section and surveyed the province. While in the vicinity, they also established a kakurega north of the garrison.[1]
