The Hydrea Shipwreck was a trireme wrecked on the northern shore of Hydrea in the 5th century BCE.

History

Tasked with bringing a pack of specially trained wolves for the Battle of One Hundred Hands on Melos, the ship [1][2] The Hydrean champion Roxana and the Spartan misthios Kassandra sought out the shipwreck and the runaway wolves as part of their archery practice for the event.[2]
