Hubert Marchand (1750 – 1821) was the son of Emmeline Vincent and a member of the Brotherhood of Assassins who lived and operated in Louisiana. He is also an ancestor of Mary Lynch and her son, Callum Lynch.
Hubert had a son with an unknown woman in 1780 and named him Jean Marchand.
In 2016, Hubert's name could be seen on a notice board set up at an Abstergo Industries facility in Madrid, which detailed the family tree of Callum Lynch. Later, as Lynch fully synchronized with one of his ancestors, Aguilar de Nerha, Hubert was among the group of Lynch's Assassin ancestors that briefly appeared through the Animus.
Trivia
- Hubert and his son share their surname with a French slave called Henri Marchand who was sent to participate in the French Geodesic Mission by the Assassin Adéwalé in 1735. It is unknown if they are actually related to him, however.
