Hrorek
Hrorek was an Norse man from Rygjafylke, Norway in the 9th century.
In the 870s, Hrorek lived in a village until it was raided and burned down by Kjotve the Cruel. Surviving alongside others, Hrorek was used as bait to lure unsuspecting travelers to aid him while his former villager turned into bandits. One day, he was met by the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir, who followed him into the trap. However, Eivor defeated Hrorek's cohorts and confronted him. Hrorek wanted to leave the group but was afraid of both them and Kjotve. Realizing his youth and foolish ways, Eivor allowed Hrorek to leave in peace but with a warning of death if he crosses her again.[1]
