The Hoplite Helmet

The Hoplite Helmet was a type of helmet of Korinthian style commonly worn by the hoplites, citizen-soldiers who made up the bulk of the militaries of the Greek city-states.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found this helmet in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from dead bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Hoplite Helmet, a headgear in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as the Helmet of Gorgophone, Paros Helmet, and the Politician's Helmet, all other headgears from the same game. Also, the style of the helmet is based on the Korinthian Helmet.
