Hijiyama was a sub-region of Iga Province, Japan, during the Sengoku period. Comprising the western areas of Iga, the region was home to the villages of Kuroda and Kashiwara, as well as several defensive structures like the Hijiyama Fort and the Kashiwara Fort.[1]
