Hathor Cistern was an underwater reservoir beneath the Temple of Hathor in Memphis, Egypt

History

In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa ventured below the Temple of Hathor and into the cistern. There, he inspected the area and looted two chests he found.[1]
