I'm not sure if we would "craft" a Philosopher's stone, but we can't go wrong with "create"..)

Alkahest

Alkahest is a substance theorized by alchemists to be a universal solvent. In other words, it is capable of dissolving any other substance without altering or destroying its basic components.

History

In the 1520s, alkahest was utilized during an experiment to create the Philosopher's stone between the Swiss scientist Bombastus and the Assassin Giovanni Borgia.[1] The substance, in combination with iron and various precious and semi-precious stones, was also used to brew panacea.[2]
