Alkahest

Alkahest is a substance theorized by alchemists to be a universal solvent, which was supposed to be capable of dissolving any other substance, without altering or destroying its basic components.

History

Alkahest was utilized during an experiment to create the Philosopher's stone, between the Swiss scientist Bombastus and the Assassin Giovanni Borgia. The substance was also used by Giovanni to brew panacea, alongside other necessary materials.[1]
