The Hard-Boiled Bracers

The Hard-Boiled Bracers were a set of bracers which were made of hardened leather in the 5th century BCE Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the bracers ended up in the hands of the Spartan misthios Kassandra after she helped Karpos rescue athletes from the clutches of the Cult of Kosmos on Thasos.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Hard-boiled Bracers, a piece of armor in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as one variant of the commonly found Athenian Bracers, another piece of armor in the same game. The name of the bracers references the method of boiling a piece of leather to make it rigid and tough.
