Gryttirsand

Gryttirsand was a Viking camp in southern Rygafylke, Norway. In the 870s, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir entered the camp and found a Book of Knowledge within a tower. There, she learned how to lace her arrows to put her enemies to sleep.[1]
