The Giant's Causeway is an area consisting of roughly 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, formed as a result of a volcano eruption fissure. Located at the northern tip of Ulster, Ireland, it has been linked to the Fomorians of Irish mythology.
Between 879 and 882, the area was visited by the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir during her time in Ireland.[1]
In 2020, the Assassin historian Shaun Hastings proposed the possibility of the Isu being responsible for its creation.[2]
