Galway

Galway is a city in the province of Connacht, Ireland. ^{[citation needed]}

History

In the early 18th century, Galway was the principal Irish port for trading with Spain and France, and it depended on this international commerce to flourish. To take advantage of Galway's healthy economy, the Welsh pirate Edward Kenway traded tobacco and cocoa with its merchants.
