Galway
Galway is a city in the province of Connacht, Ireland.
History
In the early 18th century, Galway was the principal Irish port for trading with Spain and France, making the city thrive on its profit from international markets.[1] To take advantage of Galway's healthy economy, the Welsh pirate Edward Kenway traded tobacco and cocoa with its merchants.[1][2]
