A fossil is any preserved remains, impression, or trace of any once-living thing from a past geological age.[1]
History
1st Century BCE
Basilosaurus fossils could be found in the Faiyum, Saqqara Nome and the Sinai.[2]
The deserts of Egypt, specifically the Valley of the Whales is evidence of the seas which once covered the area.[3]
