The Footpad.
"Cutting through groups of people, he moves towards his target as silent and deadly as a snake. Quickly, he rushes to his victim, brandishes his two knives and plants them into flesh, as if they were fangs. The target fails, the crowd screams, but the Footpad has already vanished."
―Ubisoft description.

The Footpad is a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. He uses a pair of Daggers.

Trivia

  • It is interesting to note that, in the trailer showing the Footpad, he is seen perhaps stealing something from the Barber's waist and then becoming the target of the chase, not unlike the Pickpockets from Assassin's Creed II. This is not a new game type. Proof: In the beta you can press the square button when nobody's around and your character will go for their weapon but stop and return to normal.
  • 'Footpad' is an old-fashioned word for Thief, but was replaced by the phrase 'Mugger' in the late 18th century.
  • His daggers resemble trench knifes designed for battles inside trenches during World War I.
