Evanthe the Huntress (died 420s BCE) was one of the gladiators of the Pephka Arena during the 5th century BCE in Pephka, Greece.

Biography

Accompanied by a lion, Evanthe was famed as sneaky fighter, stabbing from the side when her opponent thought they had her cornered. She rose in the ranks of the Arena into the top five, gaining herself a place at the monument outside the Arena gates.

During the Peloponnesian War, Evanthe faced the Spartan misthios Kassandra within the Arena, and was slain.
